Rabbits cannot be caged and left behind. These aren't mice or guinea pigs. They need a place to run and no cage has offered us such a solution. So I bought a large cage and a 34 inch high dog gate. Eventually my rabbit learned to jump over it easily. I came across this product in a number of ways and we finally found the perfect setup for our rabbit. He loves it and there is no way for him to escape. The setup you see in the picture is much larger than what you see in the picture. We had to buy this product twice to get what you see but it was worth it. The product had some flaws, the wiring between the tiles is easy to break, please buy some kind of flooring and make a habit of looking for protruding objects, which may cause great harm to your rabbit. Ties are a must, please ensure all tiles are tied with zip ties as they will come undone and if you have a setup like mine you don't need these harder tiles. to give and make your rabbit fail. This does not apply to floors. So if like me you have carpet, I bought an 8x5 plank of wood and vinyl flooring from a local hardware store, used it as is, easy to clean and preserve the texture better than carpet.
