Review on SheaMoisture Shea Butter Treatment Masque Hair Care by Kara Davis

Bought this for my daughter and myself. I, for a curly girl, use it because she has long hair and swims a lot. I used it on her and it was a mess. Terrible knots in her hair. I applied the product, applied it and let it sit for a few minutes before even trying to comb through. Combing was a JOKE. My daughter was in tears as I CAREFULLY and slowly worked the product into her hair, running through first with a wide-toothed shower comb and then a Denman brush. 30 minutes Apply, shrink and knot with comb/brush. I finally managed to untangle the tangles but her hair was still terrible. Felt just as bad as before the treatment (after using the clarifying shampoo!). I had to use my regular conditioner to restore some level of suppleness. Her hair has NEVER felt like this. I'm sorry I put her through that. It was the complete opposite of what I expected from this product. So now I'm out of money because I wouldn't dare give it to any of us in this house again.
