COMES WITH EVERYTHING!

All required seals included! Don't waste your life like I did with a smoke check trying to find a gasket leak. The leak is the valve cover itself. You know it's a common problem when they are readily available on the aftermarket! It ran great, no vacuum leaks, no MILs, readiness set, emissions gone.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It's a gamble, don't risk it!

I read many reviews before buying and decided to try it. At first the quality seemed good and it fit without any problems. BUT after 3 months and 3,000 km I have a bigger leak than before. On removal it appeared that the molded PVC section had started to separate/crack. Spend $100 more and buy the URO brand. This isn't the kind of job you want to do more than once.

Good price but beware of the screws!

This verification was done right after installation. I used a BMW gasket, not the one they supplied, but I wasn't smart enough to reuse the original BMW bolts. Most of the screws they supply have irregular threads and are poorly cleaned - I got them cheap. I ripped off part of a thread in my head before I figured it out. The big problem is that you can't tighten them properly. If you use their bolts, tighten them to specification a few times or reuse old bolts. Note their propellers use a…

Complete valve cover

My 328i was leaking oil from the exhaust causing smoke and a burnt oil smell to come through the vents. I was just going to replace the gasket, but after further research I decided to replace the entire valve cover. as it is plastic and may have cracks. PVC is also installed in the lid. I saw and bought the plus cap at a very reasonable price. When I received the cover I was pleased that it arrived complete with bolts, PVC valve, gasket and Valvetronic motor gasket. and an eccentric sensor seal

It works and is a value, however.

So here is my most honest review From some other reviews yes it is a bit light I would say yes maybe a bit where you need to adjust the cover so you can get all the screws on. It's not so far from the original that it doesn't work. For me none of that was a problem. It costs $100 for this valve cover or $700 from your local BMW dealer of choice. The only real issue I had was the sleeve not closing on the front so I'll admit I was a bit of a hack and smeared it with gray silicone which solved…

Perfect fit and no leaks

The product looks like a high quality replica of an original BMW valve cover. I don't see any clear differences in material quality or fit. Time will tell how well it withstands heat cycles. Almost a month has passed since the installation without any problems. Having full access and use of a professional mechanic (although I am NOT a professional mechanic) I installed using the supplied gaskets, but I removed the supplied screws and reused the OEM screws as I felt they would to fit better. Fixed a mysterious engine squeak on my 2011 e90 N51

My car was making a creaking/squeaking noise that sounded exactly like a broken idler pulley. After opening the oil cap and releasing the crankcase vacuum, it turned out to be a bad PCV valve. At first I tried just replacing the PCV with a cheap Revain replacement valve but to no avail. Little did I know at the time that the original valve cover had an internal crack and a blown PCV valve. In any case, the case fits perfectly on my 2011 e90 N51. The gaskets that this lid came with were a bit…

Quality control should not be a priority. Replacement ordered!

Pros: price, fast shipping (wait till the end. Irony!), product looks the same as OEM/quality (on the other hand, QA is terrible) Cons: As mentioned, quality checklist terrible. . Came with deep scratches on top and inside. Concerned about the heat and pressure that scratches could become nasty in the future, a few screws and a clip near the PVC are missing. Another minus would be the arrival of a replacement. It will arrive in 17 days. People don't just order stuff like that. Usually you need…

E60 - 2008 528i - Perfect fit, no more leaking/smoking from engine bay

Previously I had oil leaks from the valve cover to the engine outlet. The engine compartment smoked heavily for a few minutes after takeoff. The previous owner replaced the valve cover gasket without realizing that the cause of the leak was a faulty PCV valve (built into the valve cover). The new seal worked for about 3-5 months and then exploded because the cause was not fixed. Instead of paying $500 for a BMW brand valve cover, I bought this valve cover because of 1) the reviews and 2) the…
