My son went to a 7 day camp for a camping dinner and sure enough it rained 4 days out of 7. He came back from hiking and camping covered in red dirt, but getting out was VERY easy. My son said it did the job too, keeping him dry and comfortable. He said it wasn't too heavy and he wouldn't wear it in 95 degree Georgia weather. It's also not rigid like most we've tried for it.
