Review on πŸ”Œ ViewHD VHD-1X2MN3D: High-Quality 2-Port 1x2 HDMI Splitter for 1080P & 3D by Daniel Oliver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

YES, it separates the processed HDCP signal.

Working. It works. I finally order a device that does exactly what it says in the description. YES SIR. It removes HDCP and I can confirm that it does, if I need to shoot a video I will. I have an old Digital Backlit (DLP) TV and when I brought my new upgraded cable box home and plugged it in all I got was a blue screen. I tried the cable box on a newer TV and it works great. I even called in a cable specialist to check it out and after about an hour of extensive testing and troubleshooting we concluded that the problem was with my old TV not accepting the new HDCP signal. Not only did it disable the HDCP signal, but now I don't have to invest hundreds of dollars to buy a new 55-inch TV. Just out of curiosity, I tried my new ROKU flash drive, which also gave me the "Cannot reproduce" error code. content', so I connected a ROKU and Wala flash drive to it. It did a great job too. I also like the stylish metal case it comes in, looks like a good quality item. I highly recommend this product PS Pay attention to the inputs and outputs as I connected it first as a splitter to add another HDMI input This unit is designed to have an output from a cable box, a DVD player etc. to display on 2 TVs or 2 monitors etc.

Pros
  • The 1x2 HDMI splitter provides the same video and audio signals on both outputs at the same time, which are identical to the HDMI input signal.
Cons
  • Not working
