In a well-lit room you can see that they are burning, but there is little light from them. For example, the color doesn't reflect off my hand until the panel is 1/2 inch away. They are about as bright as a regular sensor backlight. Your smartphone is much brighter. I plan to use them as backlights for a couple. The name tags are CNC cut. They're easier to read in daylight but really stand out in a darker room, especially at the raves I shoot. at a right angle. Otherwise it's more blue and white. It's only visibly pink when it's turned off. Blue turns white when off. The big plus is the solid color - no dots or hot spots - it's beautiful and always on.
