Received the mattress today. Arrived faster than expected. This mattress is also much softer than expected. How resilient soft. When I sit on it, the mattress sinks significantly and feels unstable. It reminds me of a really old pull out sofa bed because it moves. I almost expect the ends of the mattress to lift when I sit on it and I'm not that tall. It isn't, but that's my perception because this mattress isn't very supportive. I lower myself halfway up the mattress. I have an expensive mattress with a good pillow, but the rest of the mattress is secure and doesn't move when I sit on it. But for this mattress, I wouldn't want to share it with another person because I think they'll feel every toss and turn. But when I lie down, it's not uncomfortable. I dont know. At the moment I'm glad it's just a mattress for my 5 year old so hopefully this mattress can support her small body but I'm just not sure if this bed can support an adult's weight. I can't say this mattress is as good as the reviews say. I think I'm really surprised at how soft this mattress is - not only is the pillow soft, but the entire mattress is soft. This confuses me because some of the reviews said the mattress was hard. Also, there's no way to install the mattress on the wrong side, as one review says one side is quilted and white and the other is flat and gray. Time will tell if it was just a $150 mattress and you get what you pay for, or if it's a miracle mattress that's as amazing as everyone says it is. If you're looking for a firm mattress, look elsewhere. - To update. A few days later I tried the mattress and it firmed up a lot! It no longer feels springy, but much more resilient. It's firm with a nice pillow on top. My daughter is disappointed because she loved how she laid on the bed. She is also 5 years old and would like a trampoline instead of a bed. Time will tell, but I feel much relieved. Buying a mattress online is a test of faith and this bed scared me for a while. Now I know - if a mattress feels intimidatingly soft, it just needs time to harden.
