The bottom half of my morning tea stays hot enough to warm the rest of the tea. It's not very hot here, but I consider that a plus because I feel safe in my office with my papers and books. It was always a shame when I had finished my tea and it was cold. No longer! It's hot until the end, which is nice as the weather here is slowly getting colder. I use it to keep hot tea warm/hot. I wouldn't use it to warm up something that's already cold. The indicator light is also helpful. I know when it's maxed out, and even when I turn it off, it flashes so I know the surface is still hot. Nice addition to my workplace.
