My Canon printer refused them and I tried all the troubleshooting steps (that came with the box) before setting up a refund. I managed to get the black ink to work for a moment, but every time I turned on the device I got a new error message. Since they came as a set, I had to return them both. The packaging was ok (well insulated and sealed) and each had a protective cap. I thought the quality of the product was good in terms of construction, but my machine just wasn't working.
