I bought 4 of these to replace the stabilizers that came with my caravan after a low move rotated all the originals 90 degrees. The best thing that ever happened! The originals were cheap tin and weighed 2,500 pounds each. That's heavy steel! I couldn't believe how much more stable the camper was with these stabilizers! The installation was a bit fiddly. The new stabilizer bars had the same hole pattern on the brackets as the original ones, but due to the thickness of the steel in the jack mechanism, the brackets are spaced about 3/16 inch apart. I didn't want to drill new holes. was able to use a drill to widen the holes on the stabilizer bracket mounts until the original self-tapping screws lined up with the original holes. I replaced all 4 in under an hour. a few weeks I will be more careful this time but honestly I don't think they will turn sideways when I end up falling back into the soft mud, durable as they are.
