Great replacement for leveling jacks for my C Class

I had 4 leveling jacks on my C Class motorhome but they were older and operated with 2 different handles (one with a socket, the other with a J- hook").Two bushings (one of each crank type of course) started to fail so I replaced 3 of them with these. Now all my bushings work with the same socket grip, they all work fine, and since i have Ordered 2 pairs of replacement jacks I have a spare These jacks are AMAZING They take the weight of my rig off the hanger easily (I would NOT use them to lift

Significant upgrade, Made in USA

Admittedly not a fair comparison to my OEM jacks that were installed on my Viking retractable RV, the original jacks don't show a rating but I'm sure they are lighter . After several years of occasional use, 3 originals had bent main bolts causing them to wobble a lot when raising or lowering and not stabilizing. Didn't want to deal with it again so upgraded and chose BAL because of 'Made in USA' and a rating of ยฃ7500. You can clearly see the difference in screw size. They also weigh exactlyโ€ฆ

Strong, sturdy, well-made stabilizers!

I bought 4 of these to replace the stabilizers that came with my caravan after a low move rotated all the originals 90 degrees. The best thing that ever happened! The originals were cheap tin and weighed 2,500 pounds each. That's heavy steel! I couldn't believe how much more stable the camper was with these stabilizers! The installation was a bit fiddly. The new stabilizer bars had the same hole pattern on the brackets as the original ones, but due to the thickness of the steel in the jackโ€ฆ

level and stability! in Jacks and Stabilizer Bars

I have just installed 2 sets (4 total) of BAL 24002D Deluxe Leveling Scissor Jacks on my 29" Winnebago Class C and am very happy with the result. I have the rear jacks installed about halfway between the rear axle and the bumper where the frame tapers to allow more ground clearance when the jacks are up I installed the front bushings next to the cab/RV interface I bumped There were a few stiff spots in the frame that slowed things down a bit, but for the most part the installation wentโ€ฆ

The levelers are great but the handle is very flimsy

I replaced my old levelers with four of these just before a hike last month. Before installing them, I ran them up and down the table several times. I recommend lubricating the screws before assembly. I have used lube before but have found that dirt, sand etc will stick to the lube. For these new ones I used Teflon spray like you use on bikes. They stayed much cleaner and walked up and down easily. I have no problems with the sockets themselves. I especially like that they use a standard 3/4โ€ฆ

Excellent USA made scissor jack

Okay people seem to be asking how thick the steel on these jacks is compared to the thin ones used in most RV's. Here's a rundown: I used a micrometer at various points around the metal of these BAL sockets. I concluded that the thickness of the steel is close to 0.125 or 1/8 inch (11 gauge), actually it was 0.121-0.122, the reason being that the thickness of carbon steel is not exactly 1/2. 8 (0.125). The thickness is slightly thinner at 0.1196, which is about my micron reading from checkingโ€ฆ
