Review on 🔗 CURT 81438 3/8-Inch Forged Steel Clevis Grab Hook, 6,600 lb Work Load, 1/2-Inch Pin for Enhanced SEO by Kyle Larjin

I received this clevis hook just yesterday and was about to attach it to my class 70 rescue chain when I noticed the pin cut was off center. The sides of the hook still had .300 inches of material on each side, but the back was only cut .190 inches back, obviously creating a weak point where all the force would be applied. I have emailed Curt Mfg but have not received anything from them. If I don't get an answer from them soon I will be returning the Revain hook and buying another brand. I work in the hardware industry and this is a big quality control error.
