I got this after a long search for knee tables (I already have a few) because: It's small: not anymore than I need for an iPad Pro plus keyboard.The surface is flat only with a cutout for the grip.The texture is also smooth so it won't interfere with writing or drawing and the silicone sticky pad prevents things like my phone no lip around the rim, the edges are rounded slightly so I don't get red lines on my delicate princess skin when my wrists rest there (jokes aside, it's uncomfortable resting your forearm on the ridge) also just more attractive These three things fixed the issues I was having with my other plastic lap tables.I thought I'd have to get an expensive wooden table but it was good for the price and well made.100 % satisfied with this purchase.
