An inexpensive basis for a fast Thunderbolt docking station. This device is having a bit of a problem recognizing my wireless keyboard and mouse. It's possible that my UBS connection is incompatible, but I'm not technically qualified to determine why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I figured a newer keyboard and mouse might be the cure. The rest of the peripherals work very well. I am using a dual monitor system, new HP laptop, speakers and webcam with the wireless keyboard and mouse mentioned above. The device heats up when touched. Not hot but warm. Cable is short but works. Bottom line, I have about 80% communication with this keyboard and mouse.
