It didn't last long
This timer was cheap - but apparently not of very high quality. When I set the defrost timer it worked for about 40-45 days and I thought my fridge was fixed. Apparently the timer motor in this unit is not powerful enough to switch from defrost to circulation and vice versa. I advanced the cycle until the compressor stopped and it should have switched from defrost mode back to working mode. but it did not work. This defrost timer is not reliable.
