Review on Promote Coordination with Melissa Doug Easy Clean – A Fun and Effective Solution by Terrence Tucker

These puzzles have nice, big and colorful pieces and my son doesn't mind that all 4 puzzles are mixed in the box. He likes to separate them by shapes on the back of the puzzle pieces. The only thing that confuses me is that not all the pieces fit together. Some just lie next to each other until the pieces click into place. So we have to keep pushing the pieces together otherwise I have to hold them while he finds other pieces to stand on. For example, none of the pieces in the entire bottom row of the railroad puzzle really fit together. I'm not sure why they were designed that way. It can be very frustrating for a child to keep knocking these pieces out of alignment. The remaining pieces fit together like a normal puzzle. I don't have any other Melissa and Doug puzzles so I don't know if it's ok for her.
