I love the taste of Agua Fresca Hibiscus (Jamaica). It is made by boiling broken hibiscus flowers in water. If you just put the flowers in water, you need to strain them. This is similar to the problems of making tea without a tea bag. These bags contain enough hibiscus for a large batch. After you're done cooking, remove the bag, squeeze it with tongs to extract all the liquid, and place the bag and flowers inside in the compost. This makes preparing a batch of concentrate for several days a breeze. The bags are cheap and the quality is great. I would buy them again when they run out, but I expect that will be in a year. I expect they will work equally well when preparing large batches of tea.
