This KVM switch is used to share a monitor, keyboard and mouse with two separate computers. This replaces the USB switch and HDMI switch, making this device an easy one-step solution. No complex setup required - just plug and play. Two USB-A to USB-B cables are included and are used to connect two computers to the KVM, but the three required HDMI cables are not included. There are two red LEDs on the front of the device to indicate that the computer is in use. and there are three USB 2.0 ports for keyboard, mouse and other USB devices such as thumb drives. After connecting everything works as expected.
