I love how it makes installation SUPER easy. My system works great. It was installed in a 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat with Alpine's crappy bearing system. Adding great sounding stereo has been made easy. My only complaint as to why a star is missing (and why it's no longer installed) is that this adapter somehow disables the car's U-Connect/XM Guardian functions. I was no longer able to start the engine remotely or locate the car from my phone or computer. EVERYTHING in the car worked as it should. I often use my phone to pre-start my car as I don't carry my keys with me when I work. So that was a deal breaker for me. I ended up buying a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 which restored my phone's capabilities.
