Review on 2-Pack KeylessOption Remote Car Key Fob for Ford Lincoln Mercury - CWTWB1U345 Compatible by Adam Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There are many offers to choose from and reviews are not consistent.

Updated 7/28/18 ...rather than changing my rating I'll just say my plans pretty much fell through, but not because of the keychain. I had the original key fob and added a second one a year ago to have more than one because I don't really trust these things when I'm not at home. Yesterday I tried it for the first time with a keychain I've been using for years and it didn't work. I never thought of trying it after programming two new ones so it was my fault. After some internet searching it turned out that at least for my car you can't program more than two for the same car and if you try like I did it will disable all other previously programmed fobs. The good news was that my two new ones worked perfectly and the bad news was that my two old ones were disabled. I know I have one for my wife, one for me and none to hide my keys with, so this purchase was a failure of my intentions. My only option is to pay big bucks for another key, so I started working on my non-working remote keypad and actually got it working so now I have a few extra remotes if one of the others fails. I looked in some separate packages for my 1999 Expedition and then the keyless solutions I found had a separate listing for a pair at about $8. They were well packed with warranty card, key ring and instructions. They are both programmed as instructed and operate my locks as expected. Help. I put one in the hidden key just for a little joke. No complaints and I'm giving these items a pass/fail rating as both work as they should, its 5 stars but only time will tell battery life and usage. My remote has a couple of weather sensitive touch buttons so a few more seemed like a cheap alternative as being locked out of this car can be quite costly if it's not happening on your street and disabling the theft system doesn't seem practical Possibility.
