A MUST for Bruxists!

I tow so loudly that I often wake my partner. I also have TMJ. So it is GOD! Many decades ago I had a VERY expensive one done by a doctor. I had another doctor who tried to put me in a mouthguard that looked like a soccer player's mouthguard. I am KAG! I spit them out at night. I can't wear them! Splintek is MUCH more convenient. I gave it 4 points for comfort because there is one spot where it rubs the gums a bit. But it's worth it! I also had it embedded in the inside of my cheeks in the morning. I think it's my fault what I do to my mouth at night so I won't blame the product. I got one of these when they first came out and I only had one option. It has been GREAT for many years. It never broke and I didn't bite through it, but it has worn out after 10+ years. When they started selling them in stores I went ahead and bought another one at a retail store. They promised it would take longer. i really hate it That's a Splintek too, but the stuff between my teeth is so hard it hurts my teeth in the morning. There was no pressure. So I ordered this one that promises "comfort" and I love it! I like that it's adjustable. I like that I don't get sick. I like that it protects my teeth from grinding. I love that I don't get a headache in the mornings when I wear it because it protects my jaw from all the frictional pressure. I like that it helps to "train" the muscles to keep a small distance between the teeth. I also have a bad habit of biting my lip, especially in the car. So I like that I can wear it and it keeps me from biting. After a while I heal and quit, but every time the stress comes back I can use that to kick the bad habit. To me. it is a must and it works best.
