I don't know much about reviews but here it is. I need an HDMI port to get behind a wall mounted TV just to get the cables out of the way. That was easy for me, since the cable box is directly behind it in another room. I simply drilled a 1" hole in the wall, slipped the pig tail through the wall, and attached the cover to the drywall. Ideally I would install a box to mount this unit, but drywall screws hold it securely in place. I used a similar cover on the opposite wall to hide the hole I made just for decoration. In a nutshell. This creates a nice clean look with the ability to hide unsightly cables. In the same way, I will use the coaxial connector to connect the terrestrial TV antenna.
