These mats have just been installed. Time will tell about the durability. As long as they fit like a glove. I like it very much. My 2014 X5 x35d has the outside edge covering the BMW logo on the sill (see attached pictures). For me personally, the fit is great and I don't mind having the BMW logo half hidden on the windowsill. However, if you want the logo to appear, you might want to check out the BMW accessory floor mats. They may work better when there is no logo on the windowsill. - 5 stars for custom fit. (I don't mind the windowsill logo) - 5 stars for the luxurious feel. - 5 stars for the price. This was significantly less than Weathertech and BMW accessory brand floor mats. It should also be noted that the accessory mats from the BMW brand are not opaque, especially in the rear area (2nd row). The BMW brand does not cover the rear hump - durability TBD. I will try to update this review over the next 24 months. However, based on the feel, I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't handle high-traffic areas like the driver's side near the pedal. I hope these rugs last me many years. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. I'm giving it 4 stars because I don't know how durable it is. If they last longer than 3 years, then definitely 5 stars. Average use, they still fit well. They stay where they are worn. However, they do not hold liquid and allow liquid to pass through; Spilled liquid penetrates into the underlying carpet. For this reason I have downgraded these rugs to 3 stars.
