There are other reviews of how they fall apart etc but they are INTENDED for that. You can break off the part that fixes it and remove the foam! But in my opinion they are easier to remove. I can pull out the plastic pieces and it makes it easier to mash and pull the foam out of the curl! Then I apply the foam again and everything is fine. Just make sure your hair isn't very wet! My hair takes hours to dry and if I put it wet on these rollers they will NOT dry. This works best if you let your hair dry completely and then dampen it just a little while you roll it up. It really doesn't take much, it took me a few tries to get it right, but once I did it worked great! The curls lasted all day and looked really cute on me. Also looks good in different styles! Just make sure your hair is COMPLETELY DRY when removing the curlers or your curls will fall out! They're a little uncomfortable to sleep on until you get used to them, but you can usually find a good spot to lie down between the rollers.
