I have used other traction chains but none were as good as this one. I was skeptical about the ability to open the circuit, concerned that it might open on its own after many hours of use. This function is implemented very well by the strong snap bridges over each link. The bridge is simply opened with a small screwdriver on one side and then folded back on the other side. Each bridge can be completely removed with a slight twisting motion. Bridges are replaced by forcibly lowering each link until you hear that wonderful loud click. Each jumper is attached at both ends in the center of the link where stress is very small and virtually non-existent. These bridges will never come loose on their own. The ability to open the circuit is now a must for me. Lateral stiffness and linear flexibility are excellent. The chain holds a straight line well in the air with almost no sagging. The price is right. The quality is excellent. You can open it! Why would you buy anything else?
