Chain looks good. I've received many of these flat packs of Chinese chains and usually have a master link attached to one end. In this case, the main link was dismantled and placed in an adhesive tape on the edge of the package, so at first it appeared as if it was missing. Also, unlike others I've received, it was packaged in black grease rather than the light coating of non-staining clear waxy grease that I'm used to. This is a 10 foot #40 chain with 2 master links. The chain comes in a plastic bag and is heavily oiled to prevent rusting. The main links are in small pouches inside the larger chain link. So if you think you only have one, take another look inside the large bag and you'll likely find that the other main link is caked with oil.
