WOW! Nothing more to say. I've put about 1600 miles on a pair of these tires and just finished the 1200 mile Tour de Florida. I was fully loaded for the offline tour. Of course I took things with me on this tour that I don't actually need, but this tour has become crucial for a bike tour around the world. I didn't have an itinerary so I took my time and visited all over the state with friends. and just did what I wanted to do. See Florida in 2 months like I've never seen it before. I mostly stayed on the roads, although I ended up with 17 miles of dirt road in the Everglades. Which really influenced my decision to follow this trail as there were so many alligators right on the trail. The tires also handled an additional 7 miles of road with no maintenance at all on the Okeechobee Lake Scenic Trail. All I have to say is yes the rear tire wears out more than the front tire, I didn't swap tires. Discs still, front to back and back to front. But these tires held up very well given the 108 pounds. gear I wore. Knock on wood, I didn't have a flat tire the whole trip. Although there were some areas I was nervous about what I was doing with the tires. OOOOOOO YES! I highly recommend these tires if you're worried about where and what you'll put them through. They are durable! Update 03/05/2014: I can't let these tires die! I want to change into a new set before I go on an 8 month tour of Europe, fly back to Toronto and drive the east coast home to Florida. With over 8,000 miles driven every day, you can see they're worn but not dead yet. Ennnnd . Not flat "ONE"! AWESOME bike tires for durability and reliability!
