Fits without mods. The item is made in the USA. This is my second Walker 54573. The first lasted 5 years 2 months 36000 km. Factory seal lasted 12 years 4 months 142,000 miles. Components are strong, welds are average. Be sure to replace the gaskets. You may or may not need to replace the spring bolts and manifold bolts. Use high temperature anti-seize compound on the sensor screws and threads during installation, if you don't you will regret it. Update: If you get code P0420, simply replace the catalytic converter within the next month or two. Too many people spend hours trying to find another cure. Just replace the coil, code P0420 means it's worn out. Yes, you can ignore the lights and drive, but you'll be draining your engine, spending money on gas, getting less and less power, and enjoying the smell of rotten eggs because your cat got shot. I recently met a lady who ignored the lights on her '02 Forester for 8 years. She gets 15 mpg. She should get 25mpg in mixed driving and could replace that item two or three times in that time for all the money she's wasted on gas. Buy this thing and if you can't install it yourself take it and the 2 spacers you need to a mechanic, I did it the first time and installed it for $80.
