I bought these shoes for my son so that he can work safely when working in the kitchen. He works in both the chef's kitchen and the deli. The shoes fit well and were comfortable. As my son has large feet, it is difficult to find suitable shoes for him (men's size 14-15). He says the shoes are definitely slip-resistant and he likes the way they look. However, he did mention that the instructor doubted they would be safe if boiling water was spilled on them because of the fabric above. The fabric makes the shoes breathable so it doesn't get too hot and your feet don't sweat as much. Overall we are happy with the shoe and will likely get a second one when it wears out.
