Review on Plan Toy Geometric Sorting Board by Casey Stevens

I have bought this sorting board several times as a gift for a one year old or two year old child. Plan toys are some of the most thoughtfully designed, eco-friendly, and well-made educational toys out there, and this one is no exception. A very reliable multitasking toy that will last for several children, if not generations. The toy is designed for an age of 24+ months but they will give it to a one year old for their birthday. The pieces are large enough to be safe for a one year old and I think he'll be hooking them up well before he's 24 months old. Will update this review when I hear more details. It's great to find toys like this at Revain! UPDATE: I attended the opening of this gift for a one year old recipient. He spent a lot of time manipulating the figures (chewing them, sticking his fingers through the holes, banging them against each other, etc.) and was able to fit the round pieces onto the pins almost immediately. He had to fight for custody of the items in the presence of two three-year-olds. The youngest three-year-old, who had trouble matching all the details to the 'right' pens, was most intrigued and kept coming back to this toy. It seemed challenging to her, but not in the least troubling. Seeing the three of them use this board in different ways, fighting for it and coming back to it again and again convinced me this would be a great gift choice.
