A great alternative to traditional jigsaw puzzles

I bought this product for my 18 month old son for Christmas. I can tell he's on the verge of getting the hang of this toy and although he's interested in it now, he'll have more of it in the future. This is a quality product and I think it will last a long time even for a preschool. It's smaller than I imagined so I wouldn't give it to a child under the age of one as the pieces will be tempting but at least four pieces are small. Son because it's not very interesting. I like it, but I want to…

More fun than I expected

To be honest I bought it on a whim. I really didn't know how he would like it. He found more ways to play with this toy than I ever imagined! The obvious way to play with this is to pick the pieces off the pins or throw them down and make a bunch of hilarious noise. He also likes to give them back in different ways - while testing different pegs with different pieces, he likes to smash them together, spin them on the pegs, turn the board upside down and use it as a drum by hitting different…

Very good! suitable for toddlers and toddler toys

I bought this for my little one as I want to introduce him to more difficult puzzles. At 29 months he could easily fold them, but it was a fun throwback to shapes and colors. Not the stimulation I imagined, but traveling with its little brother it's not a total loss. I'm sure we can use it for years. What impressed me was the quality of this puzzle. This is my first purchase from Plan Toys and it certainly won't be my last. I chose Plan Toys because this puzzle is solid wood and I love that the

Plan Toys Sorter - sort and stack toys

This geometric sorter is a great toy! One of the great things about this toy is that it is an open ended toy. My son plays with it every day; He likes to stack the stones on the board, or he takes the stones and plays with an empty container. When we first got him a toy at the age of 14 months he had trouble putting the pieces in the right place but now after a few months his sorting skills have improved a lot. This sorter is a great visual aid for learning basic math skills, shapes and colors.

  • Decent performance

  • Too stupid

Surprisingly Rewarding Educational Toy

I have to tell you I didn't buy this toy for fun, I bought it to help my son develop his fine motor skills. It doesn't look very interesting to me, so I planned to take us where we need to go and make a donation. But definitely not because that will happen in the near future (and we've had it for over a year) because our son loves this business. Actually kind of obsessed with it. And watching him assemble it gave me an idea of what his thinking is like (he doesn't speak, so sometimes I have to…

Excellent manipulator toy

I have bought this sorting board several times as a gift for a one year old or two year old child. Plan toys are some of the most thoughtfully designed, eco-friendly, and well-made educational toys out there, and this one is no exception. A very reliable multitasking toy that will last for several children, if not generations. The toy is designed for an age of 24+ months but they will give it to a one year old for their birthday. The pieces are large enough to be safe for a one year old and I…

Good sorting toy, baby loves it

My son's age is a little under the recommended age for this product, but I like to introduce toys that are a bit advanced, as long as they are dressed do not put any Choking hazard. I feel like you get more bang for your buck and enjoy it longer. At 18 months he tries to put the figures back on the pins after taking them off, but he lacks the necessary dexterity. So this "puzzle", if you can call it that, is still challenging and very intriguing for him. I think once he gets the…
