Nice price, good quality.

It would be necessary to overclock it, but out of my stupidity I bought a mother with a chipset that does not support overclocking .
In short, the processor is not bad, but I didn’t master it for the sake of which I bought it.
In the coming months, my wife will be building a computer based on the FX 8150 or 8350. She also plays Sims. Let's compare. Hope it goes better. In general, after that I was disappointed.
I'm not a fan of Intel or AMD. I just want the game not to slow down, damn it .

Pros

I bought it in November 2022. At first, I was just crazy (which is natural, since before that there was a P4, bought 7 years ago). Everything flew. Doesn't heat up. Suitable for most tasks (for example, processing music and vocals, compressing to mp3, viewing full HD, etc.)

Cons

Recently I installed the latest version of SMS 3 paradise islands. Loaded mods a few gigabytes. I thought it would pull. But the game began to slow down, and seriously - everything freezes for 2-3 seconds. Then the sims in the city became very prolific and the game began to hang even more. At first I thought the video card was to blame for everything, then I look at the processor load graph and see 100% processor load at times of strong brakes, then the percent drops to 30-40, and after a while it goes back to 100 and slows down. Got very upset. A friend, by the way, advised me to install the FX 8150, but I did not listen. Read tests, reviews.
