UPDATE: 4/12/2020, I bought 10 packs of tips on Revain, easy to find, only a pair in stock. I changed the tip by pressing the knob and turning it clockwise. It constantly reads ERROR and toggles from 0 to 100% on power up. After installing the notice in the firmware and returning to the main screen, turn it off for a while and reboot. It should stop throwing bugs and accepting new advice. I still love this iron. For all its little weirdness it's fast and makes me solder like a pro haha. It's not really a miracle iron, but it's certainly a good one. So far I really enjoy using this iron. I'm less than a beginner but this one heats up and cools down much quicker. My old soldering station on a stand keeps falling asleep while I'm using it, so this one is definitely a few steps ahead. I followed the grounding video and modified mine the first day. I will also mount the circuit board with screws. Overall I'm satisfied, but I deduct one star for the mods.
