Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhance Your Gaming Experience with SteelSeries Rival 3: 8,500 CPI TrueMove Core Optical Sensor, 6 Programmable Buttons, Split Trigger Buttons by Jasmit Singh แ Œ

I didn't see good quality, solid disadvantages.

One of the most disappointing mice for me (and I have a bag of gaming mice). At first, my copy began to fail - the mouse suddenly stopped working. I'm not sure yet, but I seem to be able to cure it (little time has passed), but let's say it was a system glitch or my copy. But there is a completely unacceptable minus. The mouse does not work properly if their software does not hang in memory. Those. the mouse is, as it were, "programmable" (like absolutely all gaming mice), but some of the functions can be written to the mouse and they will work without software, and some will not! And this is a very tangible part. It's just a disgrace, steelseries positions this mouse not as a top but rather high, and in fact it's just squalor. When I had a map of buttons for this very "rocker" stopped working when I unloaded the software, I thought maybe the copy was buggy (because there were dumps) and wrote to the support. Here is their answer: - These features require the Engine to be running in order to function: - All button mappings EXCEPT keyboard and mouse button functions - Angle snapping - Accel/Decal - Lighting EXCEPT disabled lighting, reactive lighting, and device brightness Changes made to these features should be saved to the mouse, even when the Engine is quit or uninstalled - Keyboard and mouse button function mappings - CPI - Polling rate - Disabled lighting - Reactive lighting - Lighting brightness - Here, firstly, itโ€™s not clear what is meant by โ€œkeyboard and mouse button functionsโ€ - but I tried to hang a simple bind on this very rocker, which is the main feature of the mouse, and it stops working for me, itโ€™s worth unloading the program. Disgrace. Those. if you, like me, do not like garbage software in the tray - the mouse is just overpriced garbage from a famous brand, the attitude towards which I have rapidly slipped to the plinth on this mouse. The mouse type has cool chips, but in fact they are software. In my opinion, this approach is a disgrace to the company, I strongly DO NOT recommend it.

Pros
  • We tried to make an original additional button - a "rocker" under the thumb (because of which I bought it) Light Sensor, form, mikriki, well assembled Maybe someone will like the backlight with a bunch of zones Regular software with full functionality (the disadvantage below kills this advantage)
Cons
  • Mouse programming works when the software is running (!) Some of the functions are stored in memory, some are not. Fixed wire Maybe my copy - problems with the sudden shutdown of the mouse Price. For poor functionality, when half of the mouse functions work only through software - the mouse is not even close to worth its money.

I did not immediately realize that the long "button" on the left is actually a lever that goes up and down.
