Decent camera for the price. Doesn't record sound. The built-in microphone is only used to trigger video recording in this mode. The picture is acceptable. The computer software used to set up the camera seems stable. The large field of view makes it ideal for covering an entire room with a single camera, but not the best when longer shots are required, especially when identifying a person is important. The camera easily damages the microSD card when you stop/start recording. I've adopted the practice of formatting/erasing the card with MacPro Disk Utility before each use. Controlling the camera with confidence is a little tricky given the lack of visual status input. But you will understand. Conclusion: A decent camera for the price. You may get a better product but pay significantly more.
