Very good idea well done
My dog and I travel a lot so I wanted to teach him to ring the bell when he needs to go out. That way she has an ironclad way of telling me when to get out. That was redemption. When we go to a new place, she often walks around a bit, which is what she does when she has to go out. Now she knows how to ring the bell.
