So that's the point. It's a nice little thing. It is very easy to install. You put in hot, not boiling, water. Within 30-60 seconds, pull it out with a spoon. Then immediately put it in your mouth, bite lightly and immediately bend the edges to your teeth. At the same time, I screwed up a couple of times and had to redo it immediately. You can change it at least 20 times. That's what it says on the box. I use this because I tend to grind my teeth and other mouthguards are too thick. This one is nice and thin. Cozy. So why not 5 stars? Well, it's not easy to press it against the teeth, so it's as smooth as the picture. It's a bit lumpy so it took me a few tries. It's still comfortable, hence 4 stars. Recommended? Until now yes.
