I got this to use for notes for work and I love the teal color and leathery feel of the cover - that part is sturdy. The inside has lined pages that are wide ruled and give you lots of writing space. I am disappointed in the thickness of the pages. If you use a ultra fine point Sharpie, the marker bleeds through the back of the page. You can only use pen or pencil in this. The pen makes indentation on the page. This is just an average quality journal and I wouldn't get it again because of the page thinness. The pockets are a nice touch to hold other papers.
