Exactly What I Was Looking For

Before spending on a bullet journal I used an old spiral notebook I had hanging around for a month or so to get the feel of it, and see what I wanted. (I made a lot of ugly mistakes.)Once I was sure I was going to stick with it, I bought this. It is exactly what I was liking for. The paper is just thick enough to feel substantial and not bleed through. (Black Sharpies will bleed through, though.) The index on the front, combined with the numbered pages, makes it easy to locate pages I don't use

Pros
  • The lightweight design makes it easy to carry around and store
Cons
  • The wire binding may cause wear and tear on the notebook over time

Perfect Journal in my review

I love this journal. It's perfect for my needs. It has an index, pre-numbered pages, and a nice plastic cover. I printed out a design I liked and just used double-sided sticky tape to decorate. The dot grid is very nice. I have no problem with the pages bleeding thru to the next. I use a standard gel pen & color pencils, nothing fancy. It doesn't have a pocket or elastic band if that matters to you, not a problem for me. I love the spiral binding too. I tried a Moleskine the same size & just…

Pros
  • The dots are barely visible, which makes the notebook more suitable for those who dislike the lines
Cons
  • The notebook may not have a bookmark ribbon

A Must for Beginner and Advanced Dot Journalists Alike!

I bought this back when I first started Ryder Carrol's Bullet Journal System as an inexpensive starter notebook. I've come back to it after "advancing" to the more expensive, hard cover bound dot grid books. I'm back because there's nothing like a good spiral binding when I want to get artsy.I carried this thing around with me everywhere and in and out of backpacks, tote bags and purses . it still looks great. I don't think it's expressed well on the description but it has clear frost plastic…

Pros
  • Subject Notebooks
Cons
  • The notebook may not be suitable for left-handed users

So cute and practical

My previous bullet journal ran out of paper! So it was time to order a new one and let me tell you how different this one is from my last one. I was in love with my old bullet journal but this one! This one is so cute and the pages are bigger and it has an index at the front of the journal. Love, love, love this journal!

Pros
  • The lines allow for more straight or structured notes, while the dot journal method allows for more flexibility and customization
Cons
  • The pages may not be wide-ruled, which may be preferred by some users

Does Bleed a Little Other Than that is is PERFECT

Everything about this journal was perfect but it does bleed some which was the reason for 4 stars. The size is perfect and because it is spiral it opens up flat which is critical for bullet journaling. The darker Tombow dual brush pens are the ones that bleed so I am planning to use the lighter ones. That said I have not found a bullet journal that does not bleed somewhat so time to buy more stickers:-)

Pros
  • The notebook can be used for both personal and professional purposes, making it a great all-around choice
Cons
  • The ghost grid dots may wear off over time

Perfect BuJo for an amazing price!

I just started using a BuJo & I love that this one comes with the pages already numbered and that there is a table of contents built in. The pages are a great weight & I love the protective cover since my backpack tends to shred books easily. This is definitely going to be my go-to BuJo from now on. It is such a great price for a well built journal & it takes care of the more boring aspects of BuJo making for you (numbering, creating a table of contents). I just ordered/started using my second…

  • Made in USA, Proudly Produced in Ohio. Veteran-Owned.
Cons
  • The notebook may not fit in standard backpack pockets

Great for students/note-taking

I take and re-write a LOT of notes as a professional student, and have gone through many different types of notebooks - lined, blank, dot, expensive, cheap, etc. These are my favorite purchase so far. At first I was hesitant to spend $10 on a notebook, but these dot journals are worth it.Pros- durable front/back clear cover- thick pages prevent pen and highlighters from bleeding- minimal blank margin space- binding does not snag and unwind- numbered pages and blank table of contents- dot grid…

Pros
  • The sturdy construction ensures that the notebook will withstand regular use and be less prone to wear and tear
Cons
  • The notebook cover may not be waterproof or water resistant

This journal is perfect for a ricochet thinker like me. I don't journal per se but I like to have a place to scribble down my thoughts. Problem is that sometimes my thoughts are doodles, sometimes logical sentences, sometimes they're crochet or sewing patterns. I needed a journal that functioned as lined paper, grid paper, and blank paper. The light dots satisfied all three requirements. The journal itself is of very good quality. It has hard plastic covers to protect the outside. The metal of…

Pros
  • The notebook has a relatively wide spacing between the dots, which makes it easier for beginners, children or people with vision impairments to use
Cons
  • The notebook may not include a lined paper option

A smart dotted notebook

This notebook has just the right color gray dots. I really like the rounded corners and numbered pages. The poly cover does a good job keeping things safe in my purse. The spiral is unobtrusive. I wish they'd put a blank page after the printed page so I could tear it out and make my own cover design. The index is a nice touch, but it means I'd have to rip that out too to get to a blank page if I want to do my own cover. If cracking the spine on other dotted notebooks makes you shiver, this is a

Pros
  • The size of the notebook is perfect for jotting down notes, sketches, or ideas
Cons
  • The wire binding may snag on clothing or other items

Very good but not perfect

I don't use aggressive pens but there's still bleed through to the other side of the page. The other thing is although these MAY be 1/4 grids they seem tiny compared to standard quadrille graph paper which is 4 per inch. So I'm thinking this is more like 1/5". Anyway it's very hard to work with.On the plus side the paper feels nice, and the dots are a good shade of grey (visible but not intrusive) and I appreciate the clear plastic front and back covers (slightly larger than the pages) for…

Pros
  • It comes with an attached placeholder, which complements the design and serves as a bookmark
Cons
  • The wire binding may cause the notebook to wear out more quickly than other bindings

Smooth paper, unobtrusive dots

This journal is almost perfect for my bullet journal! There are enough pages for about 6-7 months to include weekly spreads, idea pages and other miscellaneous lists. The paper is smooth without being slippery, a good writing surface. Some of my pens bleed through, so if I had one suggestion it would be to end that. However, normal pens and ball point pens do not show through with normal coverage. The cover with the name "Ghost Grid" is not my fave. I love the clear plastic cover over the cover,

Pros
  • The bullet journal * method of organization makes it easier to prioritize tasks and stay on top of deadlines
Cons
  • The ghost grid dots may not be visible in low light conditions

The perfect bullet journal

I almost never write reviews but I'm really impressed with this journal. I've been bullet journaling for 4 years now and I used to buy a new kind of journal everytime I fill one up, but this might be the first one I go back and buy again. The paper is a great thickness that gives minimal bleed through and the pages are a cool white that matches white ink great for times where you need a little correction whole writing. Every page is numbered and there's several index pages in the front for…

Pros
  • The spiral binding allows users to add or remove pages if necessary, such as for creating a mini scrapbook or adding extra pages for notes
Cons
  • The cover may be prone to scratches or dents

My art has leveled up!

I’ve been drawing basic geometric shapes, some sacred geometry, and line art. This helped me freehand a lot of it. It keeps my lines decent without needing a ruler.I like that it freed me to hand draw a lot of my work and gave me the structure/foundation to release my ideas upon!

Pros
  • The notebook is compatible with many types of pens, markers or drawing tools, making it easier to find the right one to use
Cons
  • The pages may not be perforated for easy tearing

Exactly what I wanted

I was looking for a large bullet journal and this has been perfect. The pages don’t bleed through and there is a lot of room to fill it up. Love it!

Pros
  • The paper quality is impressive, and it resists ink bleeding and smudging
Cons
  • The ghost grid dots may make it difficult to write on the center of a page

Paper is nice and thick.

Great quality paper. The clear cover page is made of a thick/good quality plastic(flexible but not flimsy). Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • The notebook is more affordable than many other bullet journals of the same high quality
Cons
  • The ghost grid dots may not align perfectly with the printed lines on each page

Satisfactory best in my review

I really like this bullet journal. However, the dots marks are a bit too dark for my taste and the paper is rather thin. The reason I bought this notebook was so I could tear out pages when I messed up terribly, but the pages are numbered so I cannot do that without having gaps in the page numbers. I like how it has a plastic cover; this makes it much more durable than previous journals I have had. And I love the black cover-- I covered up the Ghost Grid logo with an index card with my name, and

Pros
  • The Wire-O binding allows for easy turning of pages, eliminating the need for awkward page handling
Cons
  • The wire binding may make it difficult to write on the edges of the pages

I Would Buy It Again

This is my first bullet journal. I love the size of the pages and that the notebook is spiral bound. I was pleasantly surprised that it has a plastic cover! I was not so pleasantly surprised by the numbered pages; I would've preferred the pages completely blank. I attached pictures to show the amount of bleeding/ghosting that I had using tombow brush pens. I intend to buy this notebook again once my current one is full :)

Pros
  • The notebook inspires creativity and encourages users to explore their imagination
Cons
  • The notebook may be too pricey for some users

Good for beginners: my feedback

I bought Ryder Carroll's official guide on how to bullet journal and bought this journal as my very first. I would recommend it for other newbies. It has its own index rather than expecting you to make your own, which I found helpful. I personally very much like the 8.5 x 11 size and the pages are thick enough that bleed through doesn't seem to be an issue. Whether I would buy it again remains to be seen, as I'll probably feel comfortable creating my own index in the future. But for anyone new…

Pros
  • The notebook has a convenient header section on each page, where users can add their name or other identifying information
Cons
  • The wire binding may split or warp over time

Full-Size Bullet Journal

I was very happy to find a bullet journal with 8.5x11 inch paper for a reasonable price. The spiral-bound notebook is very sturdy. Clear plastic covers preserve the edges in your bag or briefcase. Photo is deceptive. It looks like the cover is black.

Pros
  • The notebook allows users to make notes and track progress in a specific project or hobby, such as drawing or painting
Cons
  • The pages may not be acid-free or archival quality for long-term storage
