Review on Large 8.5" X 11" Wire-O Ghost Grid Dot Journal Bullet Notebook 120 Pages - BookFactory JOU-120-7CW-A(DotJournal) by Joshua Gallegos

I bought this back when I first started Ryder Carrol's Bullet Journal System as an inexpensive starter notebook. I've come back to it after "advancing" to the more expensive, hard cover bound dot grid books. I'm back because there's nothing like a good spiral binding when I want to get artsy.I carried this thing around with me everywhere and in and out of backpacks, tote bags and purses . it still looks great. I don't think it's expressed well on the description but it has clear frost plastic covers. I'm going to try some of those 'stick on the inside' window clings this time.My critiques are solely personal preferences from having had the $30 notebooks and very understandably absent with this notebook. I HAVE found the solutions for you to personalize the notebook if you think you might miss them, too. The notebook hasn't got bookmarks - find a nice 3/8 inch ribbon over twice the height of the notebook and knot it to the top of the spirals while the notebook is closed or find a nice looking paperclip (all kinds of fun shaped ones here on Revain) to mark your place. I also put a pocket inside the back paper cover. A half-sheet of standard 8-1/2 by 11 makes a pocket that covers a large portion of the cover. By creating a gusseted pocket (use a search site to find simple instructions), you can keep a bit thicker amount of trinkets. I also want to have a way to tie it closed like the fancy leather journal covers. I'm going to add another ribbon like for the bookmarks but in the middle of the spiral and I will be searching for instructions myself for those simple but fancy-looking decorative knots to be the wrapping post.If you've read all of this, congratulations and have a lot of great fun expressing yourself with this notebook!
