I was pleasantly surprised when I received these. I expected them to be nice but they were sent in a nice box and the journals are sturdy, nice paper and decent sized. Glad I went with these!

These are great notebooks with a good quality paper and they open flat for ease in use. The elastic on the back binding for a pen is a great touch since when traveling you don't have to dig around for one. The band that holds it shut is good for the same reason - keeping what is written safe in a bag. I would have preferred a color other than black for that same finding it in the bottom of a bag reason but that is not a reason to downgrade the rating. :)

Both journals fell apart. My daughter wrote several pages in one before the spine completely came apart from the pages. She started writing in the second one and had one page done before it separated the same way. Complete waste…don’t buy.

I bought these for work. I'm pretty happy with them so far. They could be a little sturdier, but in general they work well. The paper is good quality and has stood up well to rigors of the job.

This book has very sturdy pages. I love that it has "date" printed on every page. It even has a spot on the front page to put your information. Was going to use this to write vehicle service records in. It will fit perfectly in a glove box. Only reason for 4 stars is it's more expensive than other books that have more pages.

Larger and harder than a Moleskin pocket notebook, these have been handy travel companion for sketchings and thoughts. I wish the cover was slightly more forgiving (like a Moleskin) because it doesn't quite flex like a pocket book should - especially necessary at its size.

Opened them up and. no pocket? The front page was separating from the cover on one of them as well already within a minute of flipping though it. No "Date" on the pages either.Study otherwise, but I bought for the spine pen holder and pocket for business cards. Bummed.

I've only been using the notebook for a few pages but it seems good for the price. I gave the pages a tug and they didn't seem like they would come unattached easily. The binding seems tight.
