Are these the best or most exquisite keepsake journals? No, but they are nice looking, good quality and serve the same purpose as a leather bound journal. These are the perfect size to carry with you everywhere you go. They fit inside a backpack or the average size purse without taking up too much space. The pages are evenly lined with a space to mark the date at the top of every page. There's a silky bookmark thats split in half, so you can actually mark two places inside the pages. Inside the back cover is a large pocket for storing keepsakes and small memorabilia. There's even an elastic band along the spine to hold your favorite pen, so you always have it handy. My granddaughter loves journal writing and has several different kinds already, but these are the best ones so far, and at $15 for two, we'll probably be adding a few more!
