Good for beginners: my feedback
I bought Ryder Carroll's official guide on how to bullet journal and bought this journal as my very first. I would recommend it for other newbies. It has its own index rather than expecting you to make your own, which I found helpful. I personally very much like the 8.5 x 11 size and the pages are thick enough that bleed through doesn't seem to be an issue. Whether I would buy it again remains to be seen, as I'll probably feel comfortable creating my own index in the future. But for anyone new to bullet journaling, I definitely recommend this one.
- The notebook has a convenient header section on each page, where users can add their name or other identifying information
- The wire binding may split or warp over time
