This review is for those having issues with the key fob, not those planning on programming and cutting the key provided. I had my own key fobs but both were out of order. I could just put my finger on the fob without pressing any buttons, or very often when the fob was in my pocket it would touch my pants and open my truck and even roll down the windows. As long as I was within reach, he would do this a lot. I don't live in the safest area so an unlocked truck, especially one with the windows rolled up, is at least likely to be robbed and soon stolen. So I have a serious problem. Aside from that, I bought this keychain to steal parts from it to solve this problem. He was perfect for this purpose. I kept the hard case from my old one because the back said Dodge and this one didn't. I removed my computer circuit board from my old one by replacing the sensor cups with the ones in this case which was an issue with my old computer circuit board in my key fob. This keychain has mugs on a sticker so I could easily remove the new board and stick it on my old one. I used the new rubber touch part from this keychain and voila. A brand new keychain in my old case, beautifully spelled Dodge. There is no doubt that you will receive a keychain for this purpose. I have no idea how to program this truck key fob but I will say that it is almost identical to my factory Dodge key fob. I'm buying another one to fix my second keychain as it does exactly the same thing as the one I fixed. Must be right for these keychains as both of mine eventually started going bad. It is highly recommended to repair old keychains
