I got this because my dog is worried in the car and in my family's house with his puppy. My dog is very old and small and just wants to take a nap and the puppy is young and huge and wants to play so it's a challenge. It starts vibrating when I put the thing on. I think he's afraid of it. I'm not sure if it's because of the style or just the clothes (I've never been able to get the pups in this litter to wear sweaters or even collars - they all tear or bleed) or because we're just each other attracted to go see family and maybe he hates it? I do not know. He's never been alone and he goes nuts when I leave him at home and he buries himself in blankets with my family and takes naps to make sure he's comfortable when he's around. I thought that was an indication that he was coming with me, which would reassure him, but it wasn't. It is also a bit big, the smallest size, and can be easily removed when the neck is out of order.
