Installation should be easy but for some reason it took more than 10 attempts to get it working. It had power because the device had a red light, but the device didn't show the expected screen. Then, without knowing what I had changed, it just started working. On my phone I had to go into the Bluetooth connection and "forget" the car. Or maybe the cable was loose. Not sure. The Accord has two USB ports that work with CarPlay, one in the front and one in the glove box between the seats. This block works in both. I can plug it into any USB port and it works fine. Since it started working it has worked great. When I start the car, it connects automatically. I'm not doing anything. There are no buttons to press, nothing to connect. The phone can stay in my pocket. It takes about 30-35 seconds and CarPlay just starts automatically. So far I haven't noticed any lag. The audio may be a little less clear, not entirely sure. The convenience of it working without having to take your phone out of your pocket is great.
