Review on πŸ’ Infiniti Pro by Conair 1875 Watt Translucent Styler/Hair Dryer; Blue - Achieve Salon-Quality Hair Styling at Home by Kari Vena

Great hair dryer as long as it stays plugged in

Love the fact that the speed settings are separated from the heat settings so you have lots of combinations besides low speed/low temp and high speed/high temp, which is all . which my much more expensive Chi had. Unfortunately, the prongs on the plug are shorter than Chi's and she keeps falling out of the socket. If you move the hair dryer while using it, which is quite necessary, the cord moves a little and it comes out right away. The cord is also a bit short so the only way I can use it is by standing against a wall, holding the dryer with one hand and holding the cord with the other to keep it connected. Obviously this is not the case. The easiest way to do this is with a hair dryer! I've tried bending the pins outwards and inwards to see if I could get more pull into the socket but to no avail, they are too short. If your outlet is near the sink and the cord can lie on the countertop while in use, this is probably a good choice. If it's 3 feet away, plan to keep an eye on the plug. I don't have this problem with my 20+ year old base Conair.

Pros
  • 3 heat settings / 2 speeds for all hair types; True Cold Shot button creates curls, waves and style
Cons
  • Functionality
