I've had at least 20 other types of ankle braces and this is by far the BEST ankle brace I've ever had. I have damaged tendons and bones in my ankle. joints. These braces don't have a hard, uncomfortable metal plate that blisters or awkwardly scrapes like some of my previous braces. I also have a cast prosthesis that works fine but doesn't allow my ankle or foot to move. The A2-DX keeps my ankle in place from side to side BUT it allows my feet to move up and down which allows me to walk without limping or stiff feet. I really can't express how much these braces have changed in the past few days. I ordered the white XL first because it was cheaper and then went for the larger black one. The larger fit my 14ft much better so I will use the XL with thicker socks and work boots, the larger are perfect for my trainers. I will definitely be ordering a few more of these braces in case they run out in the future. The instructions say to hand wash, but I tossed one of my braces in the washing machine on the gentle cycle and took them outside to dry with no problem. Also this brace has been a life saver for me after 2 years of inactivity, I can't say enough good things about it!
