Review on Wuloo Intercoms Wireless for Home - 5280ft Range, 10 Channel 3 Code, Intercom System for House, Business, Office - Expandable with 1 Unit (Original intercom System) by Ryan Olsen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works as advertised but with a long delay before each station can communicate, missing information in manual

Units worked as advertised, right out of the box. But during VOX and calling/talking there is a noticeable/long delay between the times stations can send/receive messages without kicking each other, sometimes there is no communication at all. This makes you have to wait a few seconds each time before replying, which is very annoying for your wife. In the middle of the four function keys is a red LED that doesn't seem to be mentioned in the instructions. This red LED lights up at different times, but is active in VOX mode when the device is sending a signal. It must be triggered before the other device can reply, otherwise the first part of the received message will be lost. Also (not in the manual) the channel number button on the front panel will flash when the unit is in VOX mode or always active, indicating which channel the unit is tuned to. That channel number LED isn't very bright - the woman hardly sees it (except in the dark), but it doesn't matter much if the channel is set; However, she doesn't see it blinking even in VOX mode - let's see if she can get used to it working. and the ringer is terribly loud (good for big houses), even at the volume on the lowest setting scares her to death. I will update later if needed. Thanks very much!
