This outfit was true to size for me. I'm 5'2 and 120 lbs and I purchased a medium. I usually like my clothes a little baggy and this outfit was true to size. The pants are a little on the baggy side but elastic around my waist was perfect. I think if I would have sized down area around waist would be too tight for me. But if you want a less baggy look you can size down. I didn't see a problem with sheerness. Material is nice and soft and doesn't look cheap. It's a cute outfit to pair with sneakers or sandals or heels.
